PROJECT EXPERIENCE

Summit Associates, as the prime consultant, provided full CM services for the Buchanan Field Airport Improvement Project. Services included value engineering, constructability reviews, resident engineering, scheduling, inspection, and claims support. Project features included taxiway replacement and overlay, main ramp overlay, striping, taxiway lighting, and utility relocation. For this contract, our firm created a complete electronic document controls system to track all project documentation. This 2-year project was completed on time and approximately 5% under budget. This was achieved through open communication with the contractor and other stakeholders, along with immediate response to RFI's and submittals. This project was also completed without claims. As a result of our success on this contract, Summit Associates has been selected to perform construction management services on the upcoming Buchanan Field Electrical Upgrade Project. |
